I’m all for anything that encourages wellness and restoration.  Sometimes you have to trust that the purpose, even if you don’t see it or feel it, is there.  The new Probiotic Protein Treatment by Onesta has so many benefits to the hair and even scalp.  Some of these ingredients are new to me, but definitely worth a try.

Probiotic Protein Treatment by Onesta

Key Features:

Lactobacillus Probiotic: Improves scalp circulation and strengthens hair’s biological defenses against damage from chemical treatments, environmental stresses and styling practices.

Hydrolyzed Quinoa: This complete protein’s film forming properties bind to the outside of the hair shaft to protect hair from environmental damages without any buildup.

Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein:  Penetrates inside the hair fiber’s cortex to reduce split end formation while also providing intense conditioner and longer lasting color.

The result is hair that has increased flexibility, less breakage and reduced split ends.  Hair is shinier, healthier and has more color depth.

I tried this the other day and didn’t notice much of a difference, but I don’t believe that is the point.  Nowhere does it say how it effects the styling of the hair but as far as the benefits, I’m intrigued.

Any hair products containing protein should be used with moisture to ensure ultimate hair health.  Hair needs and is made up of both protein and moisture so getting both will grow hair strong and silky.  I sprayed mine after applying Argan Oil and my hair felt great.

Great question! It doesn’t have much of a smell. It is naturally scented and smells a like little citrus mixed with a natural herbal scent. But nothing strong, after a few minutes all traces of the scent were gone.
